Hello
My name is Louis Beaudin and I'm the owner of 802hats. People call me Louie The Cowman, lol. We are a Cottage Industry in Vermont and have been hand painting spots on clothing since 1988. Each design is different to this very day. We think that our hand painted clothing is as unique as the people who wear them. We used to sell our clothing at Ben & Jerry's, Gayne's, Magram's, Perkins Landings and Timber Village in Quechee Vermont just to name a few places. We now sell only hats on our website but still hand paint clothing occasionally.

Our clothing represents much more than Vermont. Our clothing represents many things to many people. We are honored by the way that people have adopted our hats to represent Farm Aid or Breast Cancer awareness. We have always felt that our clothing captures the spirit of America and it's people who make this such a great country which gives us the right and ability to express ourselves through our art.

People say that our clothing is the most unique representation of Vermont that they have seen or could imagine.
Our goal has always been to make something unique for everyone. People have always said that our clothing items are keepsakes. They tell us that they take a million pictures of their children wearing our clothing and that they save our clothing so that one day when their children grow up and have children of their own, they can take out our clothing items and pass them on to their Grandchildren.
